Everyday School Essentials

Having a number of available drugstores to visit between lectures sure is convenient. Unless your timetable looks like Swiss cheese and you end up visiting each one of them WAYYY too often. I am pretty sure they must be questioning my sanity by now...

Here´s some stuff I obtained on my way to school.
(which normally takes me about three minutes, lol)
Complimentary Drugstore Coffee
Drugstore Discount Coupons
A pack of Fornetti  (sold right next to a drugstore)

The picture below is another side-effect of visiting said drugstores.
Stuff from the depths of our handbags (lipsticks only). The upper row belongs to my classmate, the lower one is my own:
Astor Soft Sensation 730
Miss Sporty Perfect Color 032 New Age
Catrice Ultimate Colour 320 Kiss Kiss Hibiscus
Essence 13 Love Me
Essence 08 Colour Crush

Easter Homecoming

I finally arrived home after 2 ridiculously long months of Uni. With a ton of stuff. Mostly dirty clothes and school books I need to read. And makeup. And Monster High cat dolls...
(Only Catrine DeMew missing now!!!)

You know something is wrong when...

...YOU HAVE FREAKIN' NIGHTMARES ABOUT THE BOOK YOU PAINFULLY READ FOR UNI THE DAY BEFORE!!!

I spent the night tossing around and feeling troubled because of some stupidass problem that doesn't even concern me. I even hit my elbow or something because it hurts like hell. Linguistic philosophies are evil and need to be purged... by shopping.

Triathlon Shopping: Aupark, Eurovea, My ♥ Bratislava

Uni is keeping me really busy lately, I barely have any time to waste. So to make that even worse, I went to Bratislava and wasted the whole weekend shopping, eating tasty garbage food, watching movies, etc. I will have to switch to ultra speed tomorrow to catch up with everything...
And now to the important stuff! Dermacol, Nivea, Essence...

Retail Therapy: Summer Semester Started!

Dear internet, I went back to Uni today... the day started as expected - headache and two cold sores on my upper lip. I also failed at eyeliner and my overall face looked somewhat zombie-like. Buuuuut, that doesn't matter because I got stuffz and fluffz from my friend/classmate! She was my trusted watchful eye while I was home in Slovakia and made sure I didn't miss a single sale!

:sorry for the photo quality, my room is rather dark:

Valentine's Day Gift... for my Mum!

Since I am single, I prefer to celebrate Valentine's Day with my mother. I am not usually home because of my studies, but it's a tradition for us to give each other a gift. This year she is single as well, so I thought it would be even more appropriate to show her we always have each other. The golden half is mine.

Thursday night out! #FeelsLikeVIP

The classy barista at my favourite place let us have a sneak peek at the new menu. It's still in the making so shush, this is a secret!

My Gamer History, Chapter I: Early Childhood

Ever since I can remember, there has always been a computer in my life. Judging from some old videos, we had a ZX Spectrum even before I was born - mostly due to my dad being a technology geek (thankfully). As I look back now, games shaped my life and I learnt a lot through playing. It wouldn't be the same without them and sometimes it's fun to remember the unique history that we, the kids of the 90s, witnessed. As we grew, the games evolved with us and that is something you won't see happen twice.
Trivia: Can you name the game below?

How to beat sudden anxiety attacks in 15 minutes.

With all the stress from uni and life, I often find myself crushed under a heavy rock of anxiety. It comes and goes, and mostly, I never notice until I've pushed myself too far. I have always been against medications because they don't fix the problem, they just make you feel helpless and dependent on something else to "fix" you. But you might still be perfectly capable of doing that yourself! Give it a try!

I am not saying it's always possible to simply remove all the stress you need to deal with or "delete" anxiety. But when you find yourself in a position where you feel like you no longer can/want/need to go on, like the whole world around you is moving while you are stuck and screaming for help, then this is a simple recipe that might help many of you.

The key...is music. But not just any music! I know many of you heavy metal fans want to unleash hell and let your anger and bitterness fly loose. But sometimes it is better to admit that you are tired and unable to fight the whole world on your own.

And that is where *drums* MANTRAS come in handy!

A leap forward - me (shortly) about the art of writing.

I often think about how I used to love writing stories. The most important part of that sentence is "used to", because it's been ages since I wrote (not to mention finished writing) a story. Even as I write this, my mind goes into deja vu mode - this is definitely not the first time I am trying to get back to writing.

Freshest From January

January means exams for me.
Exams mean stress.
Stress means I shop a lot.
(Because you either need to cheer yourself up or reward yourself for success.)
